We take your concept through professional development into a shelf-ready product aligned to real manufacturing — including formulation, packaging selection, shelf-life optimisation, and a clear pathway into production.
At MHS, formulation is part of a turnkey commercialisation pathway. The goal is not to hand you a draft recipe — it is to move you from concept to a shelf-ready product that can actually be manufactured and sold.
Formulation support is needed when your product is not yet ready to move reliably into shelf-ready, commercially realistic production.
Choose the pathway that matches your product complexity. If you are unsure, start with the Production Review to confirm what is needed before committing to full development.
Pricing is per product and assumes a defined brief and standard inputs. Sample creation and flavouring development are available as add-on services where needed.
We develop with the end point in mind: a shelf-ready product that can be produced reliably and commercially at low volumes.
Both Standard and Advanced Formulation include turnkey development from concept to shelf-ready product, professional formulation development, packaging selection and development, shelf-life and stability optimisation by a food technologist, manufacturing pricing and scalability planning, production-ready documentation, and full transfer of IP to your brand. Sample and flavouring services are available separately as add-ons.
Yes. All formulation services include full transfer of IP to your brand. You own the formulation and development outcome and can proceed into manufacturing with MHS or elsewhere.
Advanced Formulation is required when the product is higher-risk or highly specified, including when it targets vulnerable populations such as children, the elderly, or people who are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is also used when technical constraints or tighter quality requirements increase development complexity.
No. Sample and flavouring services are not included in the formulation packages. They are available separately as add-on services if your project requires them.
Yes — for products that are already production-ready and supported by complete manufacturing documentation. If documentation is incomplete, start with the Production Review & Quotation so pricing and timelines are realistic.
