In today's health-conscious world, functional foods and powdered supplements have gained significant popularity. With the rising demand for these products, many practitioners and small businesses are turning to contract manufacturing to bring their innovative products to market efficiently. Contract manufacturers like us, at Manufacturing Health Solutions (MHS), can assist practitioners, start-ups and small businesses by producing your products at a competitive price while freeing you up to focus on things that matter the most to you.

What is Contract Manufacturing?

Contract manufacturing involves outsourcing the production process to a third-party manufacturer. How does Contract Manufacturing of supplements and functional foods work

The ground-work: The process starts with a complementary meeting in person or my zoom for out interstate and international clients. This meeting begins by going over the non-disclosure agreements that protect your confidential idea or formulation. We then step through a high level over view of the entire development process.

Feasibility Review: We engage with our network of practitioners and industry experts to ensure that your formulation is compliant with the relevant regulations and industry standards. We also ensure that your product can be manufactured in a cost-effective and repeatable way so that you always end up with a high-quality product.

Proof of concept: We manufacture a proof of concept batch run. This will be a minimum viable product typically containing 100 units. This proof of concept will be packaged in the final packaging you have selected for you product with the graphics you have chosen for your product. If you don’t already have graphics or labels designed we will develop those for you with our network of graphics designers who have food and supplements industry experience. You can take this proof of concept batch run and show your family and friends (and your target market of course) to collect feedback for your first production batch run.

Production Batch Run: This is the first full-scale production batch run of your product and we will either ship this directly to your distributors or to your warehouse. During this phase, we also assist you in building out your own sales channels and protecting your ideas and products with the appropriate IP and trademark registrations.
